My Story
I lived with gout for 15 years before I found an approach that actually worked. Fifteen years of unpredictable flare-ups, missed plans, and advice that never quite fit my life.
Like a lot of people, I tried the generic lists: cut this, avoid that, take this pill. Some of it helped a little. Most of it felt like guesswork dressed up as expertise.
Everything changed when I stopped looking for a perfect diet and started paying attention to what actually triggered my flares — and what quietly kept them away. It took time, some trial and error, and a lot of unglamorous consistency.
I have been pain-free since 2023. Not "managing symptoms better" — actually pain-free. That is the guide, the diet approach, and the resources you will find on EaseGout: the practical, unglamorous things that worked for me, shared in case they help you too.
This site is not medical advice, and everyone's body is different. But if you are tired of generic wellness content and want to hear from someone who has actually lived it, you are in the right place.
